Find Craig Arnold

If you haven't heard, a fellow poet, Craig Arnold, has gone missing. Visit this site: Find Craig Arnold for more information. It is being updated regularly.

The end.

Well, the month is officially over. I got 22 out of 30 poems written this month. I'm slightly disappointed that I didn't get 30, but 22 is pretty good. That's more poems than I've written in a very long time. I'm thankful for this project. It's pushed me into uncomfortable territory. I probably wouldn't have written a single poem this month if it weren't for the challenge. I'm going to have to try this again soon... maybe on a smaller scale. Auf Wiedersehn.

I'm sorry I've not posted in the past couple of days. Unfortunately, I've been swamped. I had every intention of making up the poems I've missed... but I just don't know if, realistically, it's going to happen.

On that note, I'm satisfied with the amount of work I've generated this month, so far. But, I'm going to try to finish out the month without missing anymore days. If I find the time, I will make up the missing days... and if not... ces't la vie.

I am currently out of town for a friend's wedding. I will try to post a poem every day, but if I happen to miss a day between now and Saturday, I will make it up. There will still be 30 poems at the end of this month!

So, I'm thinking maybe I won't delete the poems just yet. Oliver believes seeing the poems up on his blog will keep him motivated to revise them. I like that idea. If I just file them away, I probably won't look at them for awhile. Seeing them next to each other may keep me working. So... for the time being, these will remain. But soon enough... because I'm so secretive :)... they will disappear.

National Poetry Writing Month

Well, I'm biting the bullet. In addition to my normal blog, Perhaps, I will be keeping up this blog for the month of April. The challenge is to write at least one poem a day for the entire month.

I'm keeping this blog to make myself accountable. This will *hopefully* force me to keep up with the challenge and write every day, starting today.

When I post a new poem, I will remove the previous one. But, I'll leave the *tentative* titles... we'll see what pops up. I may also throw some poetry related blogs at this page and see what sticks.

In advance, I will warn you that all of these poems will be newborns and therefore may still be dirty from birth. All I'm really hoping to get out of this is a handful of decent poems that I can work with.

Wish me luck!
